This note covers the Tiraaz waiting list, the news list, and the counting of what visitors look at on this website, including Google Analytics. We keep very little.

Who we are

Tiraaz ("we") runs this website and is responsible for the details in this note. You can write to us at ahlan@tiraaz.com.

What we keep

When you join the waiting list, we keep:

  • your email address,
  • the date and time you joined,
  • which version of this note you agreed to.

If you ask for our news, we also keep that you asked, when, which version of this note you agreed to, and where you asked: the waiting list form or the footer of any page.

If you said yes to analytics before you joined, we also keep a summary of your visit:

  • how long each part of the page was on your screen, and how many times it came into view,
  • how many times you tapped or clicked the things we count, such as playing the video, spinning the Lucky look, picking a color or adding a piece to the closet,
  • how far down the page you went,
  • the name of the website that sent you here, and the campaign tags in the link, if there were any,
  • whether you used a touch screen or a mouse,
  • your browser language and your time zone.

We do not keep your name, your IP address, anything you typed apart from your email, a recording of your screen, or a number that follows you from one visit to the next.

Why we keep it

  • Your email: to email you when Tiraaz opens.
  • Your news request: to send you our news now and then, only if you asked.
  • Your visit summary: so we can see which parts of the site interest people, and make them better. Our team can see it for each person who joined. We do not use it to make decisions about you by machine.

We never sell your details or give them to anyone to market to you.

Counting what you look at

This starts only if you say yes. If you say no, nothing is counted, and every part of the site still works.

If you say yes, the count stays in your browser's memory. It is gone when you close or reload the page, or when you change your mind. It is sent to us only if you join the waiting list, together with your email. If you do not join, it is never sent.

Time on screen does not prove you read something. It is a hint, nothing more.

You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. Choosing "Reject" clears whatever has not been sent.

Google Analytics

If you say yes to analytics, we also use Google Analytics to count visits to this site. Google receives the pages you view, how far you scroll and which links you follow, whether you joined the waiting list or asked for news (never your email), the website that sent you, your browser and device type, and your IP address, which it uses to estimate your country and city. It sets two cookies in your browser, which last up to 2 years; the Cookie policy lists them. We have set it to keep the details of each visit for 14 months.

We turn off Google's advertising features and do not send Google your email or your visit summary. Google's privacy policy explains how Google handles what it receives.

If you say no, Google Analytics never loads, and every part of the site still works. Choosing "Reject" later stops it and removes its cookies.

Who can see it

Only the Tiraaz team. Your details are stored on a server we run. When we send you an email, our email service handles your address to deliver it. If you said yes to analytics, Google receives the pages you view, as described above, but never your email.

The check against bots

To keep bots off the list, the forms use Cloudflare Turnstile. It checks your browser, not your email. Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy note explains what that check uses.

Cookies and other services

Our own code sets no cookies. We keep one small note in your browser to remember your choice, and Google Analytics sets two cookies if you say yes. The Cookie policy has the details.

We use no other outside analytics service.

The news list

The news list is separate from the waiting list. You can join either one without the other. We have not sent any news yet. When we do, every email will have a link to leave.

How to leave

Write to ahlan@tiraaz.com from the email you signed up with, and we will remove your email, your news request and your visit summary. Once we start sending emails, each one will also have a link to leave.

We keep your details until you leave.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can ask us to stop using it, and you can take back a yes you gave. Write to ahlan@tiraaz.com. We will answer within 30 days.

If this note changes

We will update it here and change its version. If a change affects what we count or keep, we will ask you again. This is version waitlist-v3, 18 October 2026.
